Clear coat! It will cost $24-$32 to do it, but there are two-part polyurethane aerosol sprays that are far superior to virtually any other aerosol. Since the cans are a chemical reaction once the two parts are combined, you might consider what else you would also like to clear coat at the same time.

Why not Cerakote ?
Good question. A couple answers. I already had the gold paint and other supplies. I'd have to buy a kit for cerakote, and really don't want to spend more on painting it than it cost (about 80 bucks for the gun).

Never cerakote'd before, but it's on my list to do.

Nice thing about airguns, cheaper to play like this than a firearm!

be back next break in the weather. much as i love the fumes lol weeee

needs a couple more layers and moving on to the body.
