Haven't monitored the forums for a while, but a friend just emailed me some information about The Freedom Group and gun and component manufacturing companies they supposedly have bought and own. The information notes that George Soros owns The Freedom Group.
So, is this BS or the real deal. I am sure this forum knows the scoop.

I don't know what connection may or may not exist between Soros and The Freedom Group. Give one some time and any degrees of separation, anything is possible. My personal fear is that the "American Way" of getting rid of guns will not be political, but corporate. It is quicker and easier (and probably profitable as opposed to costly) to acquire control of a company, or many companies, with the long term goal of shutting them down, than it would be to install enough political puppet power to achieve the same result.

What if they control the gun companies and a new Ruger Mini-14 would cost $9000? I'm afraid of them doing that.

OK...so no one on this forum has actually researched this enough to know difinitivly that it is not funded or owned by Soros? I would say that if it is funded or owned by Soros this is the biggest threat to gun ownership we face. Soros is committed to a one world government and a total ban on gun ownership by his then subjects. As was said earlier...if you have billions of dollars and can afford to buy the industries, the eventual outcome will be whatever Soros wants. Especially with the gutless, spineless, morally and ethically corrupt politicians we have in this country...not to mention a segment of the citizenry that fall right in step with those politicians.
