Am I the only 'gun guy' that isn't interested in rolling my own?

Give me a factory made, say like a Colt AR LE6920 or a Glock 19 or...ok, you see where I'm going...

I'm a bug for maintenance of all sorts of stuff, but build something, not my thing...I can't be the only one not interested in such...

You build it - I'll buy it.
No, there are plenty of guys who like to refurbish firearms to original configurations, but most are collectors of curio and relics.
@AndyinEverson I think it's safe to say this is one of his true passions.

AR's are too easy to customize not to do some modifications to.

I really did build my AR15 Carbine... :D

Damn, it looks like I slipped into a parallel dimension.

I forgot about this Franken mess I started...I got it hand cycling but the 3pound drop in ar15 trigger doesnt hit hard enough to fire it...
It's been a while since ive touched this project
the picture is not up to date but...
- the bolt has been slimmed for the ak mags.
-receiver opened for ak mags
-front mag lip has been made.
-rear mag catch sucked so im back to nothing on that
-ar15 grenade launcher handguard has been hard mounted... upside down obviously
-ar15 trigger housing has been welded and pinned in place

it's pretty Franken

I've posted this before:

Literally made from a collection a crap in my garage:

Poly80 g19 lower
Chopped mechtec CCU and threaded for the can.
AR pistol brace
Tasco Ed dot from the 90s.

Stupid little thing is accurate and runs good!
