    Hey All,

Thought I would contribute my newest "creation" for public ridicule and condemnation.

This is my first ever attempt at painting a rifle. All done with rattle can and a small brush and some acrylic paint. I had a vision in my head and I just had to see how it would come out. Been wanting to paint one for a little while. This is a total home-brew garage job (with several brews consumed in the the process). I didn't paint any of the actual rifle, just the stock and scope. The scope was a cheapo freebie that came with my last private AR purchase so I figured if I goofed up the whole job, ehhh, I'm just out the looks on a fiberglass stock and cheap scope, so what the hell?

Not the best detailing ever, but I wanted to see what the concept would look like in real life. My buddy has another fiberglass stock he said he'd give me. I'm considering actually sending that off and having it done with this design.

Ok, I'm putting my pads on.......what do you guys think?

I've never had much to do with them. Grew up in the sticks but we weren't farmers really. Drove a few for summer jobs as a kid and that's about it. For some reason I had this John Deere / camo paint scheme stuck in my noggin and I had to see what it'd actually look like. I tried to incorporate yellow into the digital pattern at the beginning but it didn't work out. The paint sucked. And the painter kinda did too.... So I scrubbed it and started over with just gray and black camo.

Yeah. It's definitely an "original" theme. Not for everyone.

Looks like a team rifle for speed steel. Saw someone did one with "Monster" energy drink.

Check out about 3 rifles down

That AR's cool too. I almost did a scheme more like that when the yellow in the camo didn't work out. I thought about just doing solid colors. But I really wanted to try my own digi camo to see what would happen. That Monster gun is pretty neat too.

    Atrocious.

Edit: It looks like you did a fine job, quality-wise. I am just disgusted by the green-and-yellow.
