What have we come to when our children can be used as pawns for our ideologies?

The artice was not harsh enough on the kids. He made this statement: "Kasky, Gonzalez, and Hogg didn't ask to be thrust into the spotlight and no ire need be directed toward them individually, but ire indeed belongs with the bloodhounds who have furthered their agendas on the back of teenage anguish."

I disagree- the MSD kids want to be in the spotlight - 24/7/365. Hogg was already trying to get work at CNN where his mom worked if my memory is correct.

What have we come to? We've come to the end of civilized society - the anti's do not allow our opinions to be heard - if we try to voice our opinions, say as a lecturer at a college - we may not be allowed - they may riot and get violent. If we wear a MAGA hat they may attack us; if we defend ourselves we go to jail, not them. They only care about feelings - facts don't matter. The fact that their desired socialist/communist utopia has been tried and has failed in every case does not matter to them.

What have we come to? We've come to the point where they have indoctrinated enough people for so long that the possibility of a totalitaran government is within their grasp - they thought they'd have it after Nov 2016; and when they didn't get it they literally went insane - the anti-gun hysteria, the Trump investigations, genital-hat marches, ANTIFA, calls for impeachment, are all manifestations of their insanity. Because they are provably insane, the anti's are right about one thing - THEY should not have guns.
