Always enjoy interacting with like minded individuals interested in preserving our 2nd Ammendment Rights and promoting ourselves in a positive light. I enjoy shooting sports, hunting, and almost anything firearm related. I am a NRA Life Member, Veteran and longtime Washington Resident with family roots settling in Oregon and Washington Territory via wagon train in the mid 1800's. I can hardly recognize the state I grew up in and am now considering moving to a more gun friendly environment in the neighboring state of Idaho. I look forward to earning your friendship. Thanks for the welcome

Welcome.

Im having a hard time getting to excited about gun owners abandoning ship this early in the game. Im a life long Washington resident as well. I'll stay for the fight, I aint going anywhere.

I do know a family of three fixin to move to Idaho. They are anti gun and tired of the high taxes in wa., the taxes they continue to vote for every time.

If times get bad enough, maybe you can put in a good word for the Washington holdouts and get Idaho to open the gate for us.

Just so tired of Freeattle "liberals" ramming everything down our throats....take,take,take and no contribution. Tired of watching the garbage and syringes everywhere and the politicians never ending thirst for other people's money. I am 68 ,still working, and can't afford to retire in this state. Hate to abandon the state I love. Wife died recently and already have 2 sons who have moved to Idaho who would like me to come that way. They assure me that the attitude over there is like it used to be( and still should be) in this state. They were welcomed with open arms ( no pun intended) and there are many more pro freedom people moving there than the antigun crowd moving there. I understand your feeling/frustration. There are far too many people riding the wagon here and not enough of us to keep pulling so they can have their free ride we are paying for. Eventually I feel that the whole loony Utopia they are building will probably come crashing down on them. If they get their way there will be chaos everywhere when the well runs dry. When people act like sheep and are not open to logic or reason they start believing we aren't entitled to speak or think freely if it's contrary to their opinion. It is not the America I grew up in and fought for. Hope you'll forgive me for falling back... I'm definitely not retreating. If I move there, you will have a friends there if you choose to follow.

Thank you so much. Love what the people are doing in Virginia... A true Grass Roots reaction to tyranny. Jefferson and the framers of our Constitution and Declaration of Independence would be so proud and must be truly smiling down on the people who are standing strong and saying enough is enough . How perfect that it is coming from the area that was instrumental in the birth of our great Nation!

Welcome to NWFA

Welcome from the gun-totin old broad contingent.

Seems to me, even if everything if everything was fine in Wa., it makes sense to be near family as you get older. Assuming you like each other, which obviously you must.

Love them. Home is where you hang your hat I guess. Feel very flattered and blessed that they want me near. I'm still very self sufficient and ok physically, but since my wife passed I sure miss her company and it will be nice to be able to be near their families and of course be grandpa. Certainly will never get bored. Hate moving though

Welcome friend.:)

Do what you gotta do.
I'm afraid that Idaho may be the rally point.

Where in Idaho are you thinking about?

I'm in Rathdrum, near CdA. I look forward to someday meeting you, and hopefully your family.

Take care.

Terry

Have on sons family near cour delaine and another sons in Kooskia area which is where I'm thinking of moving to. It's beautiful and they seem like our kind of people. They hear what is happening in Washington and are totally horrified that the Socialists aren't happy with just ruining Seattle by welcoming illegal aliens, tolerating rampant hard core drug and alcohol abuse encouraging homeless people to camp on sidewalks in doorways in parks and roadways where they are allowed to publicly urinate and defecate and shoot heroine openly and dump the garbage wherever they want. Dangerous mental health patients go untreated joined with revolving door released jail prisoners attacking people on the street robbing homes cars and businesses without consequences.Cops are told to stand down and these same politicians now desire to disarm the law abiding citizens who are already paying a heavy price footing the bill for the socialist utopian experiment .. they can't believe it! Neither can we sane people that still live in Washington. Now these same rocket scientists that have been running this sideshow have decided what's good for Seattle should be forced on the rest of the state's populace. Horrifying but true.

Hmmmmmmm, apart from our daughter, the rest of my family lives either 3500 or 5500 miles away, in a straight line, that is, further if you fly around the great circle. We'd be there with them in a New York minute if we could, but we can't, so that's the end of it.
