Just want to yell out a huge THANK YOU to The Journal News. Their recent action has taken the first amendment right up to the same basis of argument for change as the one they seek to effect... the second. Putting law abiding citizens at risk to promote an agenda and sell subscriptions has crossed the line. If we're going to have a discussion about limits to the second amendment, I say it's also time to discuss limits to the first.
We all have the rights granted to us from these very special, unique elements of our constitution and, in similar fashion, we all have the responsibility to use them in a responsible, moral way. Written and verbal language can and is being used as a weapon. If one of the folks or their family members on that map get's injured or worse, The Journal News will be held liable.
Now the little bastards are cowering and running scared...up to their nose in the crap-storm they've created. Like Gov. Cuomo, and countless other big mouth, big $$ anti-gun liberals, they now surround themselves with armed personnel -- the ultimate in hypocrisy.
So, in a way, we owe them a big thanks for taking their much beloved assault weapon out of the safe and doing a sinister, harmful act. Naturally they don't see it in this light, but there are many, many more who do.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander
