as far as the pilgrims go in that article, they were giving thanks to the american indians for giving them food, seeds and skills for hunting and gathering which prevented them from starving to death; they were not giving thanks to god though they were quite religious.

This is a prime example of the slow creep of socialism and communism into the education system.
I have been yelling about this to School administrators and legislators for 3 decades.
People are now realizing the depth to which it and has been done since the 60's.
They think they won't be called on it, but the more people open their eyes the harder they will work to correct
4+ decades of propaganda that has nearly destroyed the country and children's perceptions of our country.
There has to be an extremely hard push accomplished to fix a lot of damage. The children will become the future legislators and
leaders and if they believe all the bs they have been fed they will take the country to its knees.
THAT CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN !
This is the first level of war in our own country.
Stand up and be heard, or just paint the hammer and sicle on your door.
There is no middle ground in lies being taught as fact to our kids and grandkids.

I was in public high school in the early 1970's, the NEW crop of teachers that came in during my senior year convinced me that if and when I had kids, the wolves were never going to teach them. AND they didn't!! I looked for and found options and paid dearly for them. BUT it was because they were our kids not theirs!!

Your never going to get your way with the public schools as long as they are tax funded and "unionized"(NEA).

Your other battle will be with the LIP'S - Low Information Parents!

They will fight you tooth and nail with the thought of them loosing their percieved free daycare!

This is un-effing believable. The school should be forced by the parents in this district to buy different textbooks and this company should be sued for the money to pay for them. Heller makes it 100%, once and for all, clear that this is garbage.

They are saying the books to be rewritten next yr, but get the current ones the hell out of our schools NOW. Writing it that way WAS NO ACCIDENT !

There needs to be a national board set up by good American Patriotic people that has the task of reviewing every textbook used by our education system at all levels to make sure only truth and national pride are taught in our schools. The left has been rewriting history and teaching blame America for too many years.
Its time to put truth and Pride in our country back in the classroom.
Those that want to teach otherwise should be given a one way ticket to China, Moscow, Iran, or any similar place that teaches lies and misinformation.

They count on tactics that take time, and by the time it gets corrected, the damage is already done. More Alinsky bullpucky.
To pawn off a textbook as factual, the publisher should have to pay an exorbitant fine.
That would sure slow that crap down.
