Testing many brands of ammo through the Ruger SR22

I have a crazy amount of .22 so decided to see which was more reliable than the other. 60 ROUNDS OF EACH KIND.
Recording total failure to feed and light primer strikes as a single total for each kind of Ammo
All through my SR22 which has +5 mag extenders and Tandemkross green springs.

I clean the feed ramp and barrel after testing two brands (120 rounds) and clean the entire gun after 240 rounds.

I have many more brands and varieties so will be adding to this list as I go along.

Today was test day three and the cheapo Armscor consistency really stood out, every round felt and sounded the same and pretty strong.
I ran extra Armoscor and Norma through since it performed so well.

These have averaged a 1-2 failure to fire every 10 rounds ! It is pretty much the same for their 223 varmint ammo as well.

Those are nasty in my Tikka TX1 all you hear is the rounds when they hit ! They will run in my Mk series pistols but it has to be lubed up really well .

Browning 22 ammo is produced by Winchester.

I wasn't going to post results after testing only four more brands (60 each) but check out how crappy the Sellier & Belot is...15 Bad Rounds and all sounded really weak, 25% fail rate.
I seriously thought something must be wrong with my pistol.

Cheapo Aguilas were some hot little rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger they went screaming.
CCI continues to underwhelm.

Got out in the snow today and tried the first of three new types of Fiocchi, shot flawlessly.
On the shelf at Vancouver Sportsmans now. I'm going to pick up some more.

No, more just mag dumping it to see how it runs. I could get some on a 3" target at 7 yards when I was focusing though.

4/24/2023 Remington surprised me today, Norma had one round that needed the trigger pulled twice but they did all fire, Norma Match is pretty greasy. Shot my new Mossberg .410 and Smith 686 plus also, was a great day out in Washougal before the crowds show up with all the sunshine coming. GET OUT AND SHOOT.
