A buddy sent me some photos of an old Marlin he inherited and was curious if any of the super intelligent folks from here would have some more insight.

The internet gives some information but it's like not quite enough.

Looking for info but also considering it's in rough condition an approx value?

She sure has seen some better days. I wish I could get it from him and hang it on the wall of my house as some nice decoration.

What say you?

First is Modern Gun Values 15th edition. 2009
second is Blue Book twenty ninth edition.2008
Both are old books but so am I......

That is a 10 year old book and not what I would quote unless I was buying. It's certainly a wall hanger with too many replacement parts. I would hang a Hundred Dollar Bill on the wall before I would pay anything for that gun.
