Here's the twist...I want something that mounts like an M203. I've scoured Gunbroker and all that seems to come up is the Cobray stuff, which isn't exactly what I'm looking for. I've got my fingers crossed that Bushmaster still sells the launcher listed in some of their older catalogs. They still sell the handguards that I want.

Right now it looks like LMT is just selling 40mm stuff, I don't have that kinda money

I might just have to put a rail on my carbine and order the spike's launcher.

The Spike's launcher mounts on a rail, the M203 actually mounts around the barrel and is sucked up a bit tighter.

I guess beggars can't be choosers...If I can't find the style I want then Spike's it is.

I'm also wondering if I could use the bottom half of a 2 piece railed handguard, the upper handguard pictured, and the Spike's launcher.

I think I just figured it out...

Use this on the factory lower handguard:

Then use a possibly modified version of this for the upper half of the handguard:

Think it'll work?

Either way I need to buy the upper handguard. As long as the lower handguard could support that much weight....I don't think it can
