No, not how to make knife wounds, how to treat them. Apparently knife crime has reached such epidemic levels in parts of the UK that they figured that the rational thing to do is to turn teens into battlefield medics.
While there's nothing wrong with teaching first aid at an early age, this seems reactionary and in response to their failure to address crime. So they take the guns away and what happens? Criminals find other weapons to terrorize people. Knives, acid, bats... Then if you dare to defend yourself when attacked you are treated as the criminal. This snapshot of life in London seems like what the left want to push here. Maybe while they are trying to shove CRT down our kids throats they can teach them how to treat stab wounds. I would be happy if we could teach basic gun safety in elementary school.

Knife wounds? IMPOSSIBLE! Knives, or at least knives with blades over a certain length (six inches? In post WWII the Germains could not own knives over 6", period) are banned, and there are garbage cans (OOPS! "Redemption cans") for people to drop off their butcher knives, swords, bread knives, daggers, boning knives, fillet knives, pocket knives, etc. Oh, and let's not forget the "knife angel" "sculpture" made of knives the stupid turned in to "make the streets safe (for criminals)".

Now, go back and look at WHY England, which pretty much overran the rest of the known world, got gun control after WWI, to begin with. Then look at why England turned into a 3rd world hell hole and why they finally descended into the 5th world pest hole they are now. That spinning noise you hear? That's the 4 out of 5 men between 18 to 30 who died in WWI WALKING into German machinegun nests and dying for no reason, spinning in their graves over what their country has turned into.

Winchester black talon knives?
Sure...why not?

But, my thought was...well, if knife crimes are increasing...and their thought is to elevate teens' ability to provide aid...then the likely outcome is a bit of an arms race where the knife type will change to a wound type that is a bit harder to suture up. Guess we'll see, though. At some point, getting any sort of weapon is going to be such a PITA over in England that everyone will have guns again (if you have to go get something on the black market, might as well go big).

This is just the ridiculous cycle of; make something illegal, not acknowledge the underlying issues, try and "educate the public ".

All perpetuated by the brain dead masses wishing it away. "I just wish someone would do something about ______"

Look back on our current war on drugs, or even prohibition of alcohol. Legislating at its finest.

Good that someone in London got a simple first aid program started. Might save someone's life. A broad-based population of youngsters. More of a chance to be effective with more basically trained folks within the greater population. Remembering battlefield first aid:
Stop the bleeding
Start the breathing
Protect the wound
Treat for shock
