I never crashed one but knew several guys in high school who did one killed his girlfriend
crashed into the railroad bridge out by blue lake park back in the early 70's drove the 8 track player into her stomach nearly cut hew in half or so we heard ,
My neighbor back in the day had what had to be the nicest 69 road runner 440 red with black trips on the hood auto ,Cragers BF Goodrich raised white letter tires
wrapped in around a newly installed street electric pole just off Foster rd and 82nd as I recall killed his passenger

Yep, I sometimes look back on my youth, when we all felt we were invincible, and cringe. How most of us made it to old age baffles me. Even when one of us would get killed, it seemed to only make us sad for a short time. Then we would be back to acting like we were super human again
