Trained chimp? Is that what you call bho and I bet you did vote for him.

Hmmm, I beg to differ on what our founders would say about Ms. Palin, in my thinking she would be the best thing that could happen to this country.

"who cares more about a small, terrorist foreign nation (that spies on us and commits terrorist acts) than the USA. She is an opportunist, ('a person who exploits circumstances to gain immediate advantage rather than being guided by consistent principles or plans', (cool I suppose I'm one of them too, heck someone drops a hundred dollar bill on the ground I sure ain't going to tell them (-: to me that's just smart) phony (I don't know about that, I'll bet she's caught more fish and killed more moose than you) and a great danger to what is left of the Republic." AND OBAMA AIN'T? Are you telling me you voted for that trained teleprompter chimp over a babe? Heck, I'll bet bho ain't never done shot no gun. Nope, I'll vote for someone who shoots and hunts and fishes any day of the week, and there are just seven, than some fool whose only claim to fame is voting 'present' when he was a senator. And with Sarah Palin being a firearm owner she will stand with us on the 2nd. Did you really vote for the trained chimp? You don't look that stu . . . . Sorry

What country are you talking about? Norway, Brazil, turkey, Germany or the white flag waving french (they don't deserve capitalization of their name).

Wow, that's a lot of hyperbole and (ignorant, sorry) anger. I voted for the Constitution Party candidates, BTW

I'd be glad to bet you any amount of money that he didn't vote for the current president.

And the country he's talking about is much smaller than any of the ones you mentioned - but not too far from Turkey.

I looked at the web site, not bad, maybe they do have a chance next election but . . . I believe, might be wrong, that the United States is a two party political agenda. And that by having another party in there, especially another conservative party that we are setting ourselves up for failure, which is what the left and their trained chimp want. Divide and conquer.

The problem I have with the last few election cycles is having to vote for "the lesser of two evils."

The problem with that is that we always vote for the lesser of two evils. Think about all your wishes on your wish list. Friend, you will never find anyone who agrees 100% unless your list is short.

Plus, add in the possibility that you are wrong. I know, it hurts, but hey, we have all changed our minds about things over the years. (I used to hate spinach. :s0114:)

So, if your current wish list has even one wrong item on it and you found the person who fit them all then you have just voted for someone who is wrong.

Plus, ("Religion" warning) we are all members of a fallen race. That means that the best person walking the planet today is wrong at times.

Therefore, the best we can ever hope for is a preponderance of right decisions.

Since the only way we can guess with much hope of being right about how a person will vote has to be based on how the have voted in the past.

I think that if we want good leaders we all have to vote based on a list of our ideas of what is good policy and compare that list to what is available on the ballot, either in the primaries when it really matters or in the final vote where you will definitely be forced to choose between lesser evils, or, more correctly greater goods.

I vote based on the Christian Voters Guide, because it compares past records to the things that indicate moral values or their lack. Everyone has their own list.
I hear that some women vote on who has the best hair, or the lesser of two bad hairdos.

Without a political alternative, we patriotic Americans are $crewed into a really bloody fight.. I am game, either way, my friend

Go find yourself a cave.

While this wasnt directed at me... I have to respond.

Now would this be the same cave that the Tea Party crowd was huddled in while their rights were trampled and tax dollars wasted during previous administrations?

These people seemed content to toe the line in the past, now all of a sudden they are acting like the red coats are coming because some Democrats are talking tough? Give me a break.

Dont worry guys, these dems are all millionaires and arent about to buck the free market system. If you actually read the healthcare bill instead of listening to what Rush and Glen are telling you its all about... you'll see that not much is actually changing and that all sorts of backdoor deals were done with the big corporate interests that finance both sides of the asile.

These tea partiers are tools of the very system they are shaking their fists at.

+1

Nevadans would be fools to listen to the Tea Party and lose the tremendous
advantage they have in Congress with Reid and the position he occupies.
There isn't a single conservative candidate in Nevada so far that can get
more than 10% of the vote.

While I like a candidate who hunts, having a quitter Governor from a huge
welfare state like Alaska isn't one who I would choose to represent me.

OK, I'll say it just to make you whiners happy, bush was a bad president. Ya happy? I didn't think so. But I really wish you would stop looking in the rear view mirror at bush and join us in directing this country where it needs to go. bho has out spent bush, just in his first year, more than bush did in EIGHT! And you tell me that's good. Bull Crap. And it just isn't the democrats TEA Partiers want to throw out, it is every single career politician, both dems and republicans. Congress is corrupt, help us correct this.

I emailed to voice my opinion on "NO GUNS" at rally, I received a response this morning;

Sorry Bob, I'm do not intend to step on the 2nd Amendment, I support it 100% The intent is to keep away displayed weapons so that the mainstream media doesn't picture someone and make a mountain out of a mole hill that we are a bunch of gun toting racist. It's a shame but that just what they would do and the next thing we would see is 2 or 3 dozen State Police and City of Salem Police on hand. Out of 4 major rally's at the Capital we have only had one problem and that was a young teenager displaying a 26" machete, what for I have no idea, macho I guess. I put a stop to it as a news type was trying his best to get a picture. His mom saw no problem with it until I explained to her why the guy was doing his best to photograph her son. I'm sure out of the hundreds that were in attendance some were carrying permitted, and not displaying as is our intent. We do not exclude anyone, I'm sorry you have taken the onion that we are wrong and stepping on your rights. Under the current environment with the left doing their best to put us in bad light with the general public, we do our best to change that opinion. Sometimes it's a tight rope we walk.

EXCELLENT!!! Great response!

Well, one of my theories revolves abound the obvious intention of Mr. Obama handing over a totally unrecoverable wreck to the next Republican, and that even a good candidate like Palin, or even a Ronald Reagan clone, couldn't fix it fast enough and as everything fell apart the dems scream "Look what he's doing!"
So, I've been thinking the Republicans shouldn't run anyone ('Aint gonna happen) and let the socialist scum deal with his own nightmare so the American people would truly be done with liberalism.

A strong Tea Party candidate will have the same effect, because divide and conquer would doom conservative efforts. The idiots who say toss them all out will lose again and a one party system will throw America under the bus.

Again, I just don't understand the idiots who say vote everyone, no matter how well they have voted, out of office.

Obviously the leftists will love to capitalize on that sort of insane self inflicted headshot.

A lot of people get the impression that the TEA Party crowd is all Republican, but I saw an article that 40% of the group are democrats and independents. I think that is great! People from both sides see the need for improvement and are striving to better US!

And I guess I'm one of the idiots who say throw them all out of office, why? Because the founding fathers never intended our congressional reps to stay in office their whole life. There intent was for those who could, to seek office, to serve and then return to their own lives. I would like to see term limits, 3 years per term, with a maximum of 2 term. This would allow other to have a voice in what is going on in congress. What does an 80 or 90 year old man know about the daily lives of his constituents if he spends his whole life in congress? NOTHING!

I'd be down with a maximum retirement age, but I'm not so excited about term limits: I think they just limit voters' rights and would allow lobbyists and staffers even more influence than they already have.

How does that answer the fact that the democrats have no such fine concept of the founding fathers ideals? Are you agreeing with me that we should let them have the shebang until they ruin the country?

How are you going to get the democrats, who are in delirious orgasmic joy at finally running the whole country, to give up the power they have?
