Good Morning,
I have an Taurus 608 on order from Philomath gun shop and am quite excited but want to put a hogue grip on it.
Does anyone know how to figure out before I get the pistol if it is a round butt or square frame? I know they (taurus) have made the model 608 according to what i can read in both styles and Hogue sells both style of rubber grips for it.
I would like to get the grip ordered today so that it is in the mail and perhaps here before I go shoot it next weekened!
Any advice or how I could find out what frame style it is? And for that matter what the two frame styles actually look like so when I get it and take it apart I will be able to tell which one I have?
