I will be heading out to Joseph OR next weekend from PDX for the first time and was wondering if anyone knows of any good spots to shoot if we find some free time ?

There's a lot of state land out there, just go for a drive.

I have a similar dilemma but not Joseph. I have been scouring Google maps for what appear to be good areas off the beaten path that are on public land near where we'll be. Takes some time but basically note a few good areas on Google maps and make a drive to find the best one.

If I knew of a specifically good area I'd let you know. Sorry I can't help more

Go to the Eagle Cap Shooters Association website and call one of the numbers listed there.

I spent a few years growing up in Enterprise, there was land to shoot on all around the area, would bet that even today if a land owner is approached respectfully they might invite you in for some shooting, it really helps if you live in the area.
