Talk me out of free-floating my AR

As other members have previously stated similar comments.

You can get another completely built nice free floated upper for $340 or less from palmetto state armory.

I picked up an 18in stainless steel barrel lightweight Mlok with Magpul BUIS sights, BCG and charging handle from them recently for $340. There are lots of free floated options less than that.

PSA will sell uppers sans BCG for the same price you can buy a free floating rail from a higher end brand.

the barrel on this is a PSA 1/7 Pencil barrel I took off another rifle. Cheap no-name handguard...
I'll take this out and see how it shoots as soon as the gas block arrives. (.625) and probably some irons too

I agree with the previous posts. If money isn't an issue, just build another upper or rifle all together.
