As a collective whole, has the gun industry and shooters in general beat-a-dead-horse when it comes to deeming things "tactical"? I can't go to a restaraunt without seeing a "tactical burger" on the menu. Can we just stop? Also, do you feel this over use of the term if fueling any fires on the gungrabber side? It just seems ridiculous and pointless to deem everything with a buzzword. After all I have an old Ted Williams 20 gauge that I suppose would get pretty "tactical" during a zombie invasion... Don't even get me started on all things marked "zombie"!!!

I too am frequently enraged by all the tactical and zombie garbage but if it helps you I think a 20 ga. double is a fine antipersonnel device, just about perfect for enforcing your will against real, genuine bad guys. I also feel the same way about my .30-30. How much more fight stopper does a guy need ?

Exactly... Why do things have to be labelled in order for people to think those things will work for personal protection? Is it just marketing, or are we, as the consumers, considered that gullible with our purchasing?
Some of the ideas posted here are sure to be on the shelves in time for Valentine's Day! Maybe bright green fishing line at an inflated price to use after World War "Z". Spool it up on a flat black "tactical" spincaster and have a good time surviving!
