Is there a tac light available that maybe attaches to the trigger guard? I know there are lasers but am having a hard time finding a light. I don't actually have the shield, I am weighing my options and would prefer to have it over the compact. Thanks.

If you need a light you'd be better off getting an M&P9/40c.

They only make the Lightguard to fit full size guns.

I figured that I couldn't find anything for a reason. Thanks guys. I probably will consider the M&P 9c due to that.

If you put the slim grip panel on the M&P compact there is very little difference in grip size between the Shield and the double stack compact - but you get 5 more rounds in the mags for similarly sized guns, and the Compact can mount compact lights and lasers readily, and you can always carry a 17 round full size mag as a spare if you want.
