because the cylinder gap makes the suppressor just a flash hider or for looks.

I can't imagine anybody wanting a suppressor for looks.

Kind of like a bumper sticker on a Ferrari.

Pretty spendy item just for 'looks' as well.

This is right up there with Muzzle Loading Suppressors, neat idea, not so practical or functional! Imagine having to mount custom Suppressor height sights and a dropped ram rod mount on your ol Hawken front stuffer! I can just see @Andy54Hawken eyes bulging out of his head now!
