Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Looks like fun, no rain for miles. I take it this rifle is .308 Win, not 7.5x55 Swiss.
Those power lines and tower +/- lined up with the impact area make me a little nervous. I fired at a range in so. Calif. many years ago that was situated thusly. One time a bullet parted a power line, started a brush fire and the range was required to pay for the repair to the power lines and for the fire fighting effort.
That berm I'm shooting in is pretty soft they absorbed the bullets very well and just broken up inside the sand there it would be astronomical odds for a bullet to ricochet and hit that power line even it did it would be very weak at that point bullet would be in fragmented at the most take a little bit of the plastic coating off the wire
