we will have to se how this goes. I wonder how much of an over reaction this is. I have yet to see a report about the hogs. How many of them have died from this flu?
Unless if you watch Alex Ansary on OPB this might be the end of the world.

the flu goes around every year and a few people die of it.. this flu looks to be a illness that most get over just like any other strain of flu that makes the rounds every year the question i have is 1.5 BILLION dollars for it this year, Who came up with that ridiclious figgure and just were the **** is it going???

Mr. Oh Bamma is prattling on about forcing everyone in the nation to get vaccinated. Funny thing, though, there was an outbreak of swine flu in the 1970's.... ONE person died from the FLU itself, and TWENTY FIVE died from the vaccine. I know where I'm putting MY nickel..... truth is, if anyone is in reasonable health, immune system not compromised, and not under any unusual stress, and takes normal precautions (which doesn't even include staying out of mexican restaurants.....) the likelihood of getting it is small, and the chance of dying from it, or even serious permanent damage, is almost nil.. statistically speaking, it's far more dangerous to drive your car on the Banfield Freeway out to Gresham.......

To increase your "odds" and strengthen your immune system, just make sure you get enough of the right kinds of fats.... raw nuts, oily fish, avocados, olive oil/olives, grapeseed oil.... amazing, these are ALL things I like and naturally want to eat anyway. How'd I luck out having them on the list of MUST eat things? There's something in those fats that is an essential building block for the immune system's T-cells... without it, the T-cells don't get built. It is these cells that dismantle any virus they come across..... thus, keep them in good shape and you've stacked your end of the see saw pretty heavily. Sleep, exercise, balanced diet..... no worries.

As to the $1.5 B, how on earth do you expect anyone in government to know where such a paltry sum is going? They can't even tell us where TWO TRILLION has gone......
