After a happy trade with trainsktg, i finally got a chance to put my new SVT-40 to the test on Tri-County's ranges:).

On the 100 yard range, i was able to put 10 rounds of Bulgarian heavy in under 6 inches. I don't claim to be a great shot, so i'm *quite* happy with those results. It didn't do as well with Czechoslovakian light ball. Next time out, i'll try some different ammo.

So i took it to the 300 yard range and put 10 rounds in about 13 inches. This is even better than my 100 yard shooting:thumbup:.

So i ended my day with a smile and a fondness for my SVT-40. Thanks Keith, awesome gun!

Glad you like it :) . Those are great groups for a notch and post sight, especially the 300 yard results.
