The director of District 9 and Chappie has made a kick bubblegum 15 minute long short as a proof of concept to get funding for a feature film. Aliens have invaded and wiped out almost all of humanity. Those that survive fight a losing battle or are captured and tortured and experimented on. Pretty grim.
Sigourney Weaver gets to kick some alien bubblegum again.
