Sure look like cameras.

I will try to upload a photo of the set-up later. (I am at work now)

They look kind of like this.

Not sure what they are for but they have been in cascade park for a few years and have been moving out this way ever since.

They dont record, or if they do the public doesnt have access to it nor does the local LEO or they wouldnt have any hit and run cases unsolved.

Coming to a neighborhood near you:D:cool:

You really believe this or being facetious?
And does hit n run pay as good as a drug bust?

Both.

I know we dont have access to the video, and I also believe they get used for something.

By the time they have all those cameras up and all of our faces in the data base they will be able to track us however they want.

We are being watched for our safety, so they say.

Local governments are increasingly using network cameras to monitor the streets.
The progressive video capture made possible by network cameras delivers clear and crisp images of street scenes. If the municipality uses an up-to-date megapixel camera, it can zoom in on a portion of a wide-angle image and still offer enough resolution to identify individuals.
Using the benefits of remote monitoring, governments can monitor numerous dispersed street scenes side by side more easily than older cameras allow. With this type of street monitoring system, citizens can feel reassured about their safety, as if a police officer were patrolling constantly, day or night.
Network cameras can additionally interface with external database systems for easy comparison, so that the identity of a suspicious person caught on camera might be found in a criminal database, for example. Potential uses like this make it possible to develop crime prevention systems.

Communications: The street lights are linked together through underground cables and a wireless network
Like something out of a sinister Orwellian vision of the future, streetlights with the ability to monitor conversations and announce government warnings are being installed on American streets.
