In the meantime, we have pro-gun folks that won't belong to the NRA because they don't like getting postcards and emails. Really? Spam? That's the #1 reason some folks won't support the single most influential pro-gun group in the country? I would think our rights are more important than a little spam, but not everyone agrees.
I would think if they don't know how to take control/manage spam they probably don't know how to control/manage a firearm. ;)

I can't say if this is true or not:

Following the SCOTUS ruling, apparently the New York State Police feel emboldened - demanding people present the firearms they purchased, to see if they might not be in compliance with NY state law.
Does not appear to be that you are accused. They are making you prove you are not.
Fits with their pattern of behavior - to whit: Stop & Frisk.

"Today, we have this announcement posted on AR15dotCoam:"The New York State Police have launched an investigation into alleged SAFE Act violations and appear to have possession or copies of 4473s showing who purchased firearms. Consider speaking with a lawyer if contacted."

"Update post from the guy whose pump action gun the New York State Police demanded to see to determine if they could charge someone with a safe act violation after they got all the 4473 of a closed gun shop and combed through them fishing for safe act violations"

Looks like non-compliance may soon no longer be an option in NY. This should get very interesting. Keep your eyes focused on NY and expect our legislators to be emboldened by the actions of NY.

Noncompliance is always an option. The question is, what will people do in response to these attacks. There are only two options that I can tell: either submit to arrest and endure the tender mercies of a rigged criminal "Justice System", or go to war.
