Offered for sale is a pair of 1911 Officer Size Real Ivory Grips hand made by Colt Custom Shop Master Smith Jim Alaimo. Jim makes all of the custom grips for Les Baer, Colt, Kimber, Nighthawk, Etc. These grips come with a certified letter signed by Jim stating their lifetime warranty and attesting they are made of real Elephant Ivory imported before the 1989 Embargo.
Ivory had not been aloud in the US for over 20 years and that wont change. I paid $300 for these many year ago.
