I bought this for my woods/bear gun, but it's just too large for me. I'd like to either trade it for a 5.5" Super Blackhawk, Vaquero .44magnum or some other shorter .44 Magnum. I'm open to either double or single action.
1985 manufacture date. I haven't shot it yet, but the trigger is like butter and it locks up tight. There's significant bluing loss on the right side of the frame by the trigger guard, but just a bit of loss elsewhere. The back strap has gone to plum color.
When I bought it, it had Hogue grips on it, so I replaced them with Ruger wood grips. The Hogues will come with it too. It also comes with a really nice bandoleer holster.
