I'm no meteorologist, but we had our first real summer dinner this weekend. There was a gaylord of fresh local corn on the cob at Safeway, so we picked some up. I barbecued some kebobs, and we had that and some watermelon and local strawberries.
The corn was outstanding. Add drinking beer on the porch all night, and summer is here in my book.
