Considering getting a detachable suppressor. I have the usual suspects in 22 for suppressing (P-22, Sig 522, Charger, Mk II and 10/22). Questions: 1) what's a good detachable can that will work on those listed and 2) Where do I find an adapter for a Sig 522. 3) Who's good at threading barrels (Charger, Mk II & 10/22).

Lots of options out there for a .22 suppressor. For .22LR, I'd recommend getting a can that you can take apart since they tend to get pretty dirty. Cans that you can disassemble tend to cost more and are a little heavier though. I have a SWR Spectre and I think it's great. It can also shoot any rimfire round (.17-22mag) as well as FN 5.7.

The Sig 552 should already have a 1/2x28 thread so you shouldn't need an adapter. For your P22 check out the adapter at the top of the page: <broken link removed>

Tornado Technologies: http://www.tornado-technologies.com/ is in Hillsboro and does about the best work around for barrel threading. They can sometimes have a huge backlog though. If they do, check out ADCO: http://www.adcofirearms.com/
