Suggest a Gun Vise

I'm looking for a nice rifle vice, I have up to $75 for one. This will just be used on my work bench for cleaning, mounting scopes, things like that. Are the $30-40 Tipton ones worth it or should I step up to a better one?

I use the cheap $30 gun butler.

I don't and haven't needed anything fancier.

I don't own any $4,000 guns either though so maybe that would make a difference.

Seriously though, I've used it for everything from my .22's to my .308 hunting rifle.

And it's very compact and easy to take to the range.

My son got me one at Cabelas a few years ago its solid and has a butt vise ( no jokes please).
Its actually on sale right now for 44.99 according to the website.

I think the Tipton offers good bang for the buck. The Cabelas one looks like a good deal as well.

My Tipton, with a butt vise, has been plenty sturdy for cleaning and light work, dremmel and the like.
