What makes a barrel "match grade?" I have replaced my XD9 with a XDm9 and find it to be much more accurate, although I have changed my grip since I owned the XD and do attribute much of this to that. Does a match grade barrel make that much difference?
"Match Grade" used to mean tighter tolerances than production guns/parts would have. The problem is that "Match Grade" has been attached to so many low quality parts, one has to not only break out the mic to check tolerances, one also needs to know what the "Match Grade" part is made from.
