Interesting and eye opening observations. Thanks for the many comments.
I tend to "shop" a lot, just eyeballing availability on line, LGS etc to see whats out there, how much things are selling for to have a good idea what current values are even if I not purchasing imminently.
I can see the potential to shake something out of the bushes, .. by trading..
but generally I have very specific jones on my wish lists.. and if I have a gun in my cabinet gathering dust would try to sell it to convert it to cash.. then shop like heck and pounce when my item I want comes along at what I know to be a decent price ( given market conditions ) .. cash talks.
