That's actually a great idea. I'm thinking intruder in my house, toss this down from the top of the stairs and use the distraction for time to get down the stairs and neutralize the threat.

Co Worker of mine saw those a couple weeks ago in on of their magazines someone had left. We were both thinking the idea looked fun. When I looked at the reviews though it made it sound like they did not quite work as they were intended. I was still tempted to buy a set just to see how they would work as a safe firework noise maker.

Hardwood floors in a short house so I'd deafen everyone.

For me there would be no tactical advantage.

I can see more use if you slept upstairs and needed a distraction.

Hell, they might even bail just from that alone.
