Hey guys,

Here's another food thread. This is the stuff I've cooked in the past few weeks. Just wanted to show u all :)

Foie Gras Mini Burger with grilled onions, bacon and micro greens

Pan seared lambchops with foie gras and peach reduction

Foie gras loco moco. Basically a bed of rice with hamburger, egg over easy and foie gras. Then you smother on the gravy

New York strip with foie gras and peach reduction

Geoduck Sashimi

Best Grilled Cheese Sandwich ever! Prosciutto and salami with Duck Rillettes, Gruyere, Sharp Cheese, Smoked Gouda with a Truffle cream spread.

haha, i just like to cook in my spare time. I'm not in culinary school.

Foie Gras is duck or goose liver from ducks who have been fed corn so that they have larger, richer livers. it is very rich and delicious.
 
It's the liver of a goose that has been fattened up with corn. What plant "micro greens" come from is beyond me, however.
(All I need to know about cooking I learned from 9 mos. of short-order cooking, and reading "Kitchen Confidential" by Tony Bourdain.)
