Found a bunch of these in a tall grass field! real nasty with a really big egg sack in the bottom of the web! Buggers jump out of the web when you get close!

Dem Toe Biter water bugs, if you want some excitement and have an indoor fish tank, (cover the top with screen first) toss one in your tank. Damn things will chase, and take on (kill) fish ten times their size. It will OWN the tank.

Nothing strange about them, Just strange about how many... Cat spiders on my garage, I assume an egg sack must have just hatched.

When born the little spiders spread out and release a strand of thread that carries them away on the wind.

I haven't been here that long to see some of the weird ones, just a few banana slugs living up to their name.

I recall many summers in NV were the morman crickets took over and would cover the roads.

Those are called Jerusalem Crickets. I found one over in Prineville with some gnarly jaws up front.

Ya, I thought I'd just grab and catch one of those as a kid,, brilliant!
The thing latched onto my paw and harpooned me with some sort of spear like thing that lit me up worse than a hornet, I couldn't get rid of him fast enough.

I found this little beauty Friday at work,, it was big enough to cover (and probably drink) the top of a beer can. Even her eyes looked evil!
