Zawahri's last reported contact with law enforcement was seven years ago when bomb-making materials were found at his house during a search prompted by threats to students, teachers and campus police officers at Olympic High, a school for students with academic or disciplinary issues.

Retired police officer Cristina Coria, who helped serve the search warrant, said Zawahri was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation at the time. She didn't know the outcome of the evaluation.

Anti-gun legislation will not stop. Just because we kind of won this round does not mean they are not going to stop trying. It is all about incremental changes. California is going after magazine parts kits. All you can say is "It's California," and shake your head. That's what I do. Well that and swear to never move there no matter what the reason.

With DSM-IV (and I believe its successor is worked on), pretty much everybody can be classified in some form of nutjobbery. The risk is that the "mental" thing is not too clearly defined, leaving room for regulating authorities to fill in the daily routine. That is a risk and not a small one.
