Stock Glock 26/17 sights same?

I have a Gen 3 G17L with stock adjustable sights. I hate the U shaped rear. It takes all the focus from the front sight. My wife has a G26 with green and orange fixed night sights. Can I swap them or are they different heights? She doesn't care either way. Has anyone just colored in the white rear?

Oh and the night sights are not super important. Go to for night HD is a rifle with tac light.

Same. Double stack 9 and 40 caliber guns use 6.5mm sights. The 357, 10mm and 45 use 6.9mm sights.
