This STI Lawman 3.0 model is a single-stack 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. Built on a forged aerospace aluminum, standard-width frame with a 3″ carbon-steel slide, the Lawman 3.0 sports a blued finish (other finishes are optional) and black G-10 mycarta grips. The beavertail tip on the Lawman 3.0 is slightly bobbed for increased concealability.
STI has long been well-known in the world of M1911 IPSC/USPSA competition shooting due to the high-capacity advantages of the 2011 series and competition-oriented semi-custom packages, but it is not as familiar to single-stack Model 1911 owners in general. That is why this gun is hard to find and a smokin' good deal!
