For sale is my Back-up STI. This pistol was built by Jim Rose of Florida. It is an STI standard dustcover widebody frame, with Caspian slide. Front and rear serrations, Brazos front fiber optic sight, XS Systems "wedge" rear. Ed-Brown "tactical" Ambi's, and a Schuemann Ultimatch Bull .40 barrel. 2.75lb trigger, with EGW ignition parts. The grip safety has been de-activated. I used this pistol as my primary for 3.5 seasons.(with a few matches every year in production) with approximately 2k rounds per season, and very little practice. Based on primer counts I would guess there is between 8-9k rounds of moly-coated (MasterBlaster now Black Bullet International) rounds through the gun. It has been a back-up for the last 3.5-years (never used) as I went to a 6" gun. It was used in a Kydex holster, so there is holster wear. It is blued, as I never got around having it chromed. This is a great starter pistol for Limited or L10. It ain't pretty but it's 100% reliable, and a great shooter.
