selling this for son who was in middle of restoring it
its a Stevens 416L target style bolt action 22LR
has a 26"heavy bull barrel
5 rd clip
scope mounts and rings
my son took the varnish off and was about to start taking the grey stain previous owner had on but has decided to sell it instead
the gun has some rust you can see in the pics but with #0000 steel wool pads and oil it will come right up(I started doing it but figured its not my gun and if he doesnt want to finish it either will I)
the rifling still looks great and the barrel still looks to be in good condition minus the stain some meat head got on it.
the stock appears to be in good condition minus the ugly weathered grey stain which in the past Ive taken off other guns with bleach, yes bleach takes the stain right off.
this would be a good cosmetic restoration project for the right person
AND YES IT STILL SHOOTS GREAT, I TESTED IT BEFORE I SAID I WOULD PUT IT ON THE SITE
