"Carrie" and "It" author King took to Twitter to call for "responsible gun control laws" on Thursday, after the deadly church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, that left nine dead.
King also took aim at those who keep "proudly closed minds" on the issue of gun control.
"Until responsible gun owners support responsible gun control laws, innocent blood will continue to flow," King wrote. "How many times must we see this?"
The author went on to lament the entrenched attitudes on the subject.
"Too many closed minds on gun control. Worse, far too many PROUDLY closed minds," King added. "Meanwhile, the American shooting gallery remains open."
I don't think he likes us much.
