Too bad the hole-in-foot guy just didn't try to test a sharp axe vs his boots - he could've saved money by buying smaller boots after slicing off a couple inches of his toes

Someone told me a story of a friend who bought a bullet proof vest at a swap meet for $40 and tried to get his friends to test it but shooting him with a 9mm while it was on...

Luckily (as the story goes) they talked him out of wearing it and instead draped it over a tree stump... went right through the vest and into the stump, as one might guess for $40.

Speaking as a long retired, (thank goodness too) emergency room RN that guy is very lucky. Very clean. Enough bone left to let it all heal. Amazing what good old mother nature provided us with. Some tendon and ligament work needed. In two years it will be just a distant non pleasant memory. But ... I bet it will leave a scar!

High pressure washers are no joke! I've seen some brutal finger de-gloving from someone who didn't respect the power those things have

If you like gory Vids, go to U-Tube in text in high temperature and pressure washer accidents. Also split rim tire repair accidents. Also big brush and limb chippers accidents. Or go to the big infected zit or boil popping vids. Neat stuff. Yuck!

Or ... the classic non edited WW2 era industrial accident films. Machine tools. Lathes. Old fashioned dress ties. Ship building accidents. Old hard hat diver fatal accidents. Those are the worst. Lots of gore. Very sobbering. Yuck! That is all.
