I just bought a case of the Bear .308 steel case ammo to put up for my SAR-8 and was thinking of buying a bit more until a friend with a HK-91 said that his gun wouldn't feed the steel case ammo reliably. I live in the city and its going to be a while before I can get out to shoot to see how my gun will digest the stuff so I thought I would see if anyone had any personal experience either with a HK or Springfield and the steel cases...

I have fired them through an M1A and an FNFAL. They shoot dirty you will want to clean with a chamber brush and keep a steelrod handy in case a case seizes in the chamber
