has anyone else used the new CFE-223 powder for there 22 cal centerfire rifle i loaded some 223 with 50gr v-max bullets with 27.5 gr of CFE-223 it preformed great out of my howa varmit rifle with a 20in barrel velocity was 3452 fps i was smoking rats out to and past 300yds let me know if you have tried it and how it worked thanks

i grew up in christmas valley and never saw one rock chuck have to go to bend redmond area for that my folks live there and say the rats are thick and should be good hunting this weekend going to be sunny and warm

My crew's going over May 3rd. Our 7th year, we knock on doors for rats and have fields at night for rabbits. Up til 2 am when the hunting is good.
The rats are much more abundant when it is sunny and warm. One year it was HOT and I went through a coffee can of .22s in one field.
