If it is indeed a B&T Station Six 9 then that should make narrowing down the list of suspects pretty quick. Especially if the shooter was the purchaser of the suppressed pistol because they would have had to submit a photo with their Form 4 application. Regardless, I doubt B&T has sold more than a couple thousand of the Station Six in the US which should make tracking one down pretty easy.

"This model in 9mm wears a 3-in. barrel. It finds its operational success as a magazine-fed, non-auto-ejecting single-shot functioning in a rotational bolt action."

This explains all the "jams" Ive heard about he had...

At about 10 seconds in on the 3rd shot you can see a slide move back. My guess, regular semi auto with no Neilson Device. He had shot it enough to know the slide didn't cycle and was prepared and practiced for that

I dont know how the Station Six9 works but it makes no sense for a single shot to cycle a slide and your right it does look like something is blowing back in the video, especially the first shot is most clear.

OMG that wins the internet today.

So the bad guy apparently wrote words on the ammo used that left a clue to his motive, the casings had the words "deny," "defend" and "depose" written on them, suggesting disgruntled with healthcare denying and ignoring claims to avoid paying.
Personally, I would've gone with, "FAFO" on each casing.... it covers the full gamut of subjects.

Station Six triggers break like 7 year old biscotti.

And they resemble the trigger plunger on a 1960s water pistol...

Edit to add: Only providing information on a pistol. Whether it was used in a crime, or not, is of no interest.
Edit to add: too: The model that had the awful trigger was a .45ACP model. Not sure how that would make a difference though.

Since its not the crime gun, can we talk about the merits of a $2000+ 9mm pistol thats a single shot?

Like... why?

The same reason why someone's buys a vietnam era M16 clone, nostalgia. It is just a cool modern clone of the historical Welrod pistol. The merits of the design are in the additional noise reduction. With proper ammo and a wipe it gets down into the silly quiet range of subsonic 22lr. Now the only real world use I can see for it would result in getting 3-hots and a cot unless your working for a government agency.

Supposedly a play on the title of this book critical of the insurance industry…
