For sometime now I have been slowly, cleaning out, tossing out, and restowing bits from my past from my, "gun closet."

Today I came across a 6" bladed fillet knife and sheath that I bought from Stanley Fujisaka when I was stationed at SUBASE Pearl Harbor during the early 1980s: mirror polish, staghorn scales. It's still in pristine condition as I put it away, and never once used it. I remember him inviting me into his house, and workshop where he showed me how he made his knives. He just seemed like the world's nicest guy.

I think that Stan went on to renown as a knife maker: particularly of folding knives.

Does anyone else have a Fujisaka blade?
