I'm very happy with mine. I think that it's probably more accurate than my Colt out of the box. I've heard rumor that the front sight is prone to breaking.

Nice thing about a dovetail is any one can replace a broken front sight. Old style stake on
Were a pain even for us gunsmiths.

I thought the SR 1911's didn't need any real mods.. already coming with most all the good stuff.

It does. What i did is only cosmetic. It shoots great out of the box. I now have two and this one in the video has 500 + rnds through it with no issues. Love this 1911
