How did I not hear about this thing earlier? Was in Sportsmans Friday and saw one on the rack. Did not buy (was not looking to buy another new gun right then) but would have if I had the extra cash to drop then and there. Makes the xd-s actually comfortable and the trigger felt a lot like my well worn P220s. I dig the hk style safety/decocker too. Its now on the list to consider for a single stack 9 for deep carry. But really did SA not have confidence in this or was it only soft launched?

The launch was a dud. I'm sure in no small part due to the Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms fiasco a while back....

Truth be told my righteous anger at SA faded into the back of my brain in the months hence. I needed a reminder. Shame because I like XD's and that hammer fired gun is a neat little gun.
