Springfield Armory M6 Scout Survival Rifle- RARE!

M6 Scout survival rifle in .22lr/410 shotgun. Excellent condtion- I have owned this gun for ~15 years and have only shot it on four occasions. Its a great backpack/survival gun and easily breaks down to a very compact package. Plenty of ammo storage in the stock. This particular M6 Scout has the factory hand guard as well as the extremely rare factory springfield optics rail (weaver) installed!

How to you tell year of MFG? I can't find anything on the net correlating serial number to specific year of MFG. I know its the USA made one and not the newer CZ made one.
